Atago-class Guided Missile Destroyer
From Canadian Power Wiki
The Atago-class Guided Missile Destroyer is a class of four destroyers used in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force from 2007 onwards. It is an improved variant of the Kongou-class DDGs that entered service in the 1990s. The Atago-class replaced the Tachikaze-class destroyers that were in service since 1973. They will be complemented by the Yukinami-class from 2020 onwards.
