The F110 Bonifaz-class are a new class of six frigates of the Spanish Navy that will replace the aging Santa Maria-class frigates. The project is being developed by the Ministry of Defence and the public company Navantia. The order of execution of the project will be given by the Council of Ministers in late 2017 or early 2018.
