City-class Mine Countermeasures Vessel

The City-class mine countermeasures vessels are a class of mine warfare ship being procured jointly by Belgium and the Netherlands to replace the aging Tripartite-class minehunters. A total of twelve ships will be built (six for the Belgian Maritime Component and six for the Royal Netherlands Navy). he new MCM ships will include a range of unmanned systems including unmanned surface, aerial and underwater vehicles alongside towed sonars and mine identification and neutralization ROVs.
