Belgian Air Component

The Belgian Air Component (Dutch: Luchtcomponent, French: Composante air) is the air arm of the Belgian Armed Forces. The Belgian military aviation was founded in 1909 and is one of the world's first air services.
The commander is Major General aviator Frederik Vansina who was appointed on July 23rd, 2009.
