Asagao-class Littoral Combat Ship

The Asagao-class Littoral Combat Ship is a class of vessel in service in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force from the late-2020s onwards. It is 92 meters long, 21 meters wide, has a draft of 4 meters, and displaces 1,500 tons. It is capable of speeds over 35 knots (64.82 km/h) and has a range of 3,500 nautical miles (6,482 kilometers) at 15 knots (27.78 km/h). The Asagao-class can be configured for humanitarian aid and disaster relief (HADR), mine countermeasures, or offshore patrol/special ops.
