A total of forty ships are planned to be constructed, with three ship in active service, one fitting out, three currently under construction, and a further eleven vessels currently ordered.
The ships are designed to use various flails, as well as tele-guided and autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles and unmanned surface vehicles to disable or destroy mines at safe distances.
