Victoria Cross (Canada)

The Canadian Victoria Cross, created in 1993, is the Highest Award within the Canadian Honours system. It is awarded by the Canadian Monarch or the Governor-General to any Canadian Forces Member or Allied personnel serving with or under Canadian Command for extraordinary valour and devotion to duty while facing hostile forces.
