The Vector-class High Speed Patrol Boats are a class of twenty-four vessels in service in the Canadian Coast Guard from the early 2010s onward. The were ordered in early 2011 and launched from 2012 through 2013. The Vector-class is roughly 25 meters in length, uses fiberglass-construction catamaran hulls, and are powered by General Motors diesel engines. They are capable of achieving speeds as high as 90 miles per hour (144.84 km/h) to hunt down drug traffickers.
