The Rivadavia-class aircraft carriers are a pair of light fleet carriers design and built by the Spanish shipbuilding company Navantia for the Argentine Navy in the 2000s as a replacement for the ARA Veinticinco de Mayo (V-02). The Bernadino Rivadavia and Mariano Moreno entered service in 2008 and 2013 respectively. They are named after the two Rivadavia-class battleships used by the Argentine Navy in the first half of the 20th-century.
