HMAS Brisbane (D46)

The HMAS Brisbane (D46) is the second of four Hobart-class destroyers in the Royal Australian Navy. On June 23rd 2008, Brisbane was towing the heavily damaged carrier Australia back to port after it was attacked by Indian and Pakistani forces. In September 2016, Brisbane and frigate Stuart was assigned to join a battlegroup led by the American battleship USS Wisconsin. It was joined by destroyers British Columbia, Dauntless and Gloucester, and South African frigate Mendi on September 26th when supercarriers George Washington and Warrior arrived.
