The Dreadnought-class Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarine is the replacement for the Royal Navy's Vanguard-class SSBNs. It is 532 feet (162.15 meters) in length, displaces 18,100 tons, and carries sixteen Lockheed UGM-133 Trident II D5 ballistic missiles. HMS Dreadnought is expected to enter service sometime in 2028.
