The Boeing/Saab T-7 Red Hawk, originally known as the T-X, is an American/Swedish advanced jet trainer developed by Boeing Defense, Space & Security in partnership with Saab Group. It was selected on September 27th 2018 by the United States Air Force as the winner of the Advanced Pilot Training System (T-X) program to replace the Northrop T-38 Talon.

  • BTX-1: Two prototypes for evaluation.
  • T-7A: Production aircraft for the U.S. Air Force.
  • F/T-7X: A variant of the T-7 proposed for the USAF's Advanced Tactical Trainer program, with a possible 100 to 400 aircraft sale.
