The Italian frigate ITS Carlo Bergamini (F590).

The Bergamini-class multirole frigates are the Italian variant of the FREMM (Frégate multi-mission/Fregata multi-missione) multipurpose frigates that are planned for service in the Marina Militare from the early 2010s onwards. The Marina Militare currently plans to have ten of them to replace their older frigates currently in service.

Fincantieri is offering the Bergamini-class to the USN as part of the FFG(X) program.
